Medication Refills

Refills are typically provided during visits

Refill requests require a visit within the last 2 months

If >2 months, a follow-up appointment is required

Refill Request Appointments are available online (for eligible patients)

If a pharmacy sends a refill request without my knowledge, it will not be approved.

If you are on a regular medication and an appropriate refill is needed, please contact me directly to approve the request.

As a solo provider, I personally handle all visits, refill requests, calls, faxes, and messages. Limited administrative support is utilized for billing and logistics only and do not participate in clinical care.

Appointments

This is a telehealth practice — visits are not scheduled by text or phone

Medical care, medication changes, and treatment plans require a scheduled visit

Weight Loss Medications

Weight loss medications are managed differently than traditional prescriptions.

Structured follow-ups and adherence to your personalized plan are essential for success.

Prior Authorizations (PA)

Some medications require prior authorization with your insurance.

PA visits must be scheduled in advance, as they typically require 30–60 minutes of dedicated time.

The fee for this service is $50, which covers the time required to ensure uninterrupted access to your medication.

Communication Policy

This is a telehealth practice. Phone calls are not monitored. Please use text or email for communication.

Messages should be sent during business hours

Responses may take up to 24+ hours
Texting is allowed for:

Payment & Billing

All visits are prepaid
Bills may be sent for:

If you believe a charge was already paid, provide proof for review.

Missed Appointment & Cancellation Policy

Cancel at least 24 hours in advance

Missed or late cancellations (<24 hrs) = full charge
Patients with repeated missed visits may:

Have limited scheduling

Be required to prepay future visits

Telehealth Licensing

You must be physically located in a state where the provider is licensed

Out-of-state patients will be evaluated under California guidelines
